Tenuta Sant'Urbano was born in 2001 as a farm from the desire of Lara and Silvio Bucchi to bring to light the crops abandoned for 30 years adjacent to their home in Maiola in Castello di Serravalle on the hills of Bologna. 
 The territory lying on the badlands, which has always been suited to the cultivation of the Vignola durone and vines, is recovered and brought back to production in the cereseto and vineyard which today gives DOC Barbera and Cabernet Sauvignon grapes. 
 In the meantime, with a view to differentiating the services offered, Lara opens the doors of her home by creating a small b & b inside the rustic stone built in the 1300s capable of welcoming guests with loving care who wish to spend pleasant moments in contact with nature in company of his family. 
 The B&B is joined first by the agritourism linked to cultural and sporting activities with a small but pleasant archery course with three-dimensional silhouettes that winds within the company, then from 201 always with the Tenuta Sant'Urbano brand, the event organization, with which Lara tries to bring her philosophy and her way of life to the outside, creating events related above all to the food of the territory in which Tenuta Sant'Urbano is placed.
