Twenty years of Zola Jazz&wine
From 15 June to 6 July XX Edition
For four weekends, from 15 June to 6 July, the exhibition will once again offer a magical and unforgettable experience on the Pignoletto hills, directly between the rows of vines, under the warm light of the sunset and quenched your thirst from the precious local wine, always most recognized nationally and internationally.
Five appointments, three of which
picnic and two concerts in the cellar, to be felt with body and mind.
THE PROGRAM
Picnic in the vineyard on Saturday 15 June – Terre Rosse vineyard
Via Predosa, 83 - Zola Predosa
Starting from 19.00
The first appointment of the 2019 review will open beautifully in the vineyard of the Vigneto delle Terre Rosse company with the concert by the Further Definition Combo who with their 5 saxes, piano, double bass and drums will pay homage to Benny Carter, master of the alto sax, who stylistically represented a bridge between swing and bebop.

Picnic in the vineyard on Saturday 22nd June – Maria Bartolotti Winery

19.00 - Nico Gori Trio
A concert of reinterpretations of the most famous standards of the American songbook and some pieces of the jazz tradition, played by the famous trio, the Nico Gori Trio.
The group boasts musicians of great importance, led by Nico Gori,
historic collaborator of Stefano Bollani, and by two young talents of Italian jazz, Michelangelo Scandroglio on double bass and Sergio Aloiso Rizzo on guitar. There will certainly be high moments of improvisation and interplay.
In case of rain close to the concert, the event will be cancelled.

Concert on the terrace on Saturday 29 June – Azienda Manaresi

An easy afternoon walk on the rolling hills of Zola Predosa dressed in summer. The appointment will be at the Manaresi Company, with the guide Angela Fotticchia, to travel 8 km to discover the lands of Pignoletto, among wheat fields and vineyards. €10.00 per person. Children up to 14 years €5.00. Possibility of packages for families with 2 or more children.

Aperitif on the terrace under the sunset light reflecting on the rows, where you can taste the wines from the cellar and fish-based finger food offered by Sardina- La Bottega del Mare.
Sautéed sardines, seafood couscous and a selection of fried foods 20 €.

You can listen to a concert on the terrace of an all-female trio, the Silvia Donati Trio, with Silvia Donati on vocals, Francesca Fattori on guitar and Camilla Missio on double bass. The trio will be inspired by Billy Holiday and Nina Simone, with original arrangements that will give the songs a new perspective.

Concert in the farmyard on Friday 5 July – Azienda Gaggioli Vini

Starting at 19.00
Aperitif under the sunset light, where you can taste the wines of the historic Gaggioli cellar and fish-based finger food offered by Sardina- La Bottega del Mare.
Summer pasta with prawns, zucchini and mint, sardines in sauce and marinated anchovies with burrata cream 20 €.
In addition to the bookable tasting menu, people on site will also find other courses.

Starting at 21.00
In the farmyard of the Gaggioli Vini company, the Bartoli-Landscape trio will perform excerpts from the new album by double bass player Roberto Bartoli, born from the collaboration with Daniele Santimone on guitar and Stefano Bedetti on saxophone, and candidate for "Best Italian jazz record" for 2019. Just released by the Dodici Lune label, it is already acclaimed as one of the most interesting record releases of the year.

Picnic in the vineyard on Saturday 6 July – Lodi Corazza Company

Starting from 19.00
A picnic in the vineyard of the Lodi Corazza winery with a concert by the Fausto Beccalossi-Joe Pisto duo, with Fausto Beccalossi on the accordion and Joe Pisto on the guitar. Tango, jazz and Mediterranean music are the musical palette of the Duo which will propose rhythms from the two Americas transporting the listeners into an evocative dimension.
