The whole hilly stretch is crossed by a dense maze of paths and paths which in this period are an inevitable destination for those who want to experience moments of serenity in the open air.

You will be able to travel the Bologna section of theStreet of the Gods, the path that unites Bologna and Florence and which crosses the territory of Casalecchio di Reno in the panoramic point of thePath of the Bregoliis in theLock Park, to then continue along the Reno River in the direction of Sasso Marconi, with the possibility of admiring the Pliocene Buttress and the San Gherardo Oasis.

In Valsamoggia and Monte San Pietro you can instead walk the ancient path of theLittle Cassiawhich connects Nonantola to Pistoia, and which in the High Middle Ages became a Longobard road and therefore one of the many itineraries that led to Rome joining up with the Via Francigena. The Piccola Cassia is a path rich in historical and religious testimonies (Nonantola Abbey, Rocca di Bazzano, Monteveglio Abbey, Serravalle Castle and S. Apollinare, Badia, Santa Lucia and Pieve di Roffeno, Bombiana, Rocca Corneta, Fanano and many other historic centers and villages), and I will give you the opportunity to discover varied landscapes and authentic flavours.

In fact, while walking it will be possible to stop among the various wineries of the Colli Bolognesi, the production area of the Colli Bolognesi Pignoletto DOCG, which in recent years has been able to make itself known and appreciated more and more not only locally but also nationally and internationally.
