The B&B 
 Located inside the medieval village, in the heart of the " Monteveglio Abbey Regional Park ", the Abbazia Bed & Breakfast offers its guests a relaxing and suggestive stay a few kilometers from Bologna and Modena. Two bedrooms with private bathrooms and a small apartment, which includes a double, a single and the services make up the sleeping area. The furnishings are from the early 1900s and contribute to giving a touch of sober elegance to the premises. On the walls are works by the painter Bruno Pinto, who lives and works in the village. On the ground floor a large dining room and a terrace overlooking the Po Valley are at your disposal for breakfast or for relaxing after a day in the woods and badlands. As far as the eye can see, wonderful panoramas .. 
 Outside the walls, then, relaxing walks along the paths of the Park with the possibility of visiting ancient settlements scattered along the Samoggia and Panaro valleys. Liviana Balestra and Claudio Candeli welcome you and await you for a peaceful stay between art, history and nature. 
 
 The restaurant 
 The Trattoria del Borgo di Monteveglio is a small family-run trattoria that is located in a medieval village closed to traffic and is characterized by a warm and informal environment. It offers dishes related to the Bolognese and Modenese tradition (since we are in Monteveglio, a borderland between the two Emilian provinces) 
 
 Housed in an old house, which was part of the first walls of the Abbey, it is composed of three small rooms distributed on different levels. The number of seats is reduced (around 40), therefore reservations are recommended especially during the weekend. In summer you can dine in the rustic courtyard that overlooks the valley and looks at the beautiful church of Santa Maria Assunta (9th century AD).
